Chubby Tsitsi's Meatballs and Tomato Sauce

May 16, 2008

My Aunt Fran...Chubby Tsitsi...my mom, Skinny Tsitsi...couldn't cook, taught me many years ago in Brooklyn some of her secrets of the kitchen. ONE- great sauce starts with pork neck bones, have to have 'em. And TWO...good sauce takes AT LEAST four hours to make, and frozen and reheated after a week is even BETTER.

Pizza di Christiano

May 9, 2008

I'm a single guy who eats out more than I should, so I don't cook a lot. But I do enjoy cooking, and on the rare occasion when I have a guest or two over for a meal, I like to prepare my homemade pizza.

Cheese cake by Erica and Rachel Remauro

May 2, 2008

This cheesecake recipe was handed down to me from my grandmother.

It's definitely the best cheesecake I've ever had, and is a favorite among my friends and family. Even if you're not that fond of cheesecake, you should give this one a try!

The recipe is fun and easy to follow-- easy enough that my 4 year-old daughter, Rachel, enjoys making it with me! Hopefully, someday she will pass it on to her children! Here is the recipe. Enjoy!

Our family is well known for our love of backyard cookouts! We invite a lot of friends and family over, and Stephen will fire up the grill, usually for steaks. The kids (Michael, Tara, Patrick, Hanna, and Paige) shuck the corn and prepare the salad. And I make the piece de resistance... "3-Cheese Potatoes"!

These are so easy to prepare; I guarantee your family and friends will beg you to make these over and over again; mine does!

Melody McMuffins by Melody Harper

April 18, 2008

Filling the stomachs of five kids, ages 13-20, and one husband with a huge appetite, can seem like it's an ongoing job in itself. One of our family's favorite breakfast treats is something that I call Melody McMuffins. It's fast, tasty, and smells great while everything's cooking.
